     On 26th August 1997 Data Perfectionists, Inc. came into being as
a for-profit company incorporated in the state of Florida in the USA.  Data 
Perfectionists, Inc. is the legal entity through which the DP Users 
Cooperative will actually hold assets and do business.  To emphasise the 
nature of the entity, the new corporation will habitually refer to itself
as "Data Perfectionists, Inc. -- an international cooperative of DataPerfect 
users". 

     Almost twelve months ago members jointly pledged their support to what 
was then affectionately known as "the Co-op".  Whether they were anticipating 
becoming full shareholders or associates, they were all working to secure a 
better future for all that they had come to know and love in DataPerfect.
Incorporation marks the beginning of a new phase in development and support
for DataPerfect.

       The Corporation will now proceed to consumate stock subscriptions in 
Data Perfectionists, Inc. for all those who have sent in the cost of one or
more "shares".  There are some slight formalities involved in doing this and 
the Board of Directors will be contacting each putative shareholder 
individually.

     Over the coming days, publicity material will be distributed on
CompuServe, the Internet and in the computer press.

     Thanks are due to all who have supported the Cooperative during the past 
year, particularly at those times when matters have seemed to progress 
slowly.  Data Perfectionists, Inc. will now belong to its shareholders - it 
can become whatever they jointly have the will to make it.  The Corporation 
aims to go forward in strength to build on the firm foundation that has 
already been established.
