Introduction

The Computerized Ancestor is based on the Family Group Sheet Exchange, begun by Yates Publishing in 1981. It consists of an index of all the family group sheets submitted to the exchange, sorted in four different ways: by husband's name (in the form LastName, FirstName), by document number, by wife's name, and by author code. The document number and author code are assigned by Yates Publishing.

There is also an index of authors--those who have submitted their family group sheets to the exchange. These are sorted in four ways: by author's name, by author's code, by author's filename, and by date. The code and filename are assigned by Yates Publishing.

This site is only an index. More detailed information is available from the authors who contributed the family group sheet, or from Yates Publishing.

Documents

To browse through the list of documents, you need to specify either the husband or wife's last name, then click on the "Begin Browsing" button.
